Food & Beverage Attendants | Howard Smith Wharves Activations

This year Howard Smith Wharves are turning up the dial with a calendar full of major events and experiences from now until the end of the year, and we’re building a crew of passionate Food & Beverage Attendants to help deliver unforgettable moments across our headline activations.

Working across these activations will involve delivering high-energy service, supporting event operations by clearing tables, taking customer orders and working behind the bar. You will also create exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment, with our first activation expected to kick off in June.

If you thrive in the heart of the action and are eager to work in one of Australia’s most iconic waterfront precincts, come and join the crew that brings our activations to life.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced event environment
• Engaging with guests to create a fun and memorable experience
• Working collaboratively with a passionate hospitality team
• Supporting bar and floor operations as required

What we are looking for:

• Willingness to work on an event-only basis across scheduled activation periods
• Previous experience in hospitality or events
• The ability to carry a tray of beverages and confident with a 3-plate carry of food
• A positive attitude and strong customer service focus
• Ability to work weekends and thrive in a busy setting and be comfortable being hired on a casual basis
• Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
