Stanley is looking for a skilled and passionate Wok Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Known for our refined take on Cantonese cuisine, we’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional dishes.

As a Wok Chef at Stanley, you’ll be responsible for executing dishes with precision, consistency, and speed using traditional wok techniques. You’ll work closely with our head chef and longstanding kitchen team to maintain quality, efficiency, and creativity across service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and cook dishes using wok techniques to a high standard
  • Maintain consistency in flavour, presentation, and portioning
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards are upheld
  • Assist with prep, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a smooth service flow

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a wok chef in a high-volume or premium restaurant
  • Strong understanding of Cantonese or Asian cuisine
  • Ability to handle high-pressure service with speed and accuracy
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
