Kitchen Attendant

Join Artemus Group and help keep our kitchens running behind some of Brisbane’s most exciting events.

We’re looking for Kitchen Attendants to join our Events team on a casual basis, with weekday availability and late finishes. In this role, you’ll keep our kitchens clean, safe and stocked, and support the smooth running of service across our venues.

As a Kitchen Attendant, you’ll:

• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen workspaces, fridges, cool rooms and dry stores
• Operate the dishwashing machine and keep operational equipment clean, sanitised and ready to go
• Handle general pantry duties and help keep the kitchen stocked and organised
• Report hazards or problems to management immediately and follow safe manual handling practices
• Be a reliable, helpful presence on the team — pitching in wherever the kitchen needs it

What we’re looking for:

• Weekday availability, including late finishes (around 1am)
• A responsible team player who enjoys helping others and being part of a busy kitchen
• A hands-on attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• Experience working in a kitchen is great to have, but not essential
• Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, HACCP and PPE highly regarded
