Set beneath the iconic Story Bridge, Howard Smith Wharves has grown from the multi award-winning Felons Brewery into a buzzing destination, now home to 13 restaurants, cafés, bars, event spaces, and a hotel—and we’re still growing.

We’re on the lookout for a qualified and reliable Electrician to join our team and help keep our precinct running at its best.

In this role, you’ll work across a diverse mix of residential, construction, and maintenance projects, supporting the ongoing development and day-to-day operations of our dynamic site. You’ll be part of a hands-on team delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

This is a full-time position with consistent hours (6:00am – 2:00pm), offering stability, variety, and the opportunity to work somewhere truly unique.

Key responsibilities include:

• Electrical maintenance and service
• Electrical installation
• Data and communication installation
• Testing, repairs, break down service, commissioning and fault diagnosis of electrical systems
• Work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety and compliance standards
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients, suppliers, team members and members of the public
• Offer professional and technical support to clients

What we are looking for:

• Current QLD Electrical License
• QTP license advantageous
• Current QLD Drivers’ License
• Current CPR and LVR Certification
• Current Construction White Card (General Safety Induction Card)
• Current Elevating Work Platform License (EWP/Yellow Card)
• Open Telecommunications Cabling License
• Comprehensive knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 wiring rules 

Skills required:

• Minimum 2 years experience in commercial maintenance and installation services
• Experience using job management platform, or willingness to learn
• Dedication to safety and meeting occupational health and safety requirements
• Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
• Strong pride and confidence in your work
• Commitment to build respectful, courteous and professional relationships with our clients
• Renowned trouble shooter and problem solver
